The Internship (2013) Movie Review

Who knew a film about trying to score an internship could be so fun?

Well, it's not a movie that requires a lot of brain power, but if you just want a bit of fun at the movies this is for you. Maybe you could use it as a cool-off after watching the widely labelled 'too-serious' Man Of Steel.

The Internship revolves around two sales guys who become redundant due to the rise of modern technology.. sound familiar? Thought so, a common problem among the previous generation's hard working employees.

Vince Vaughn's character Billy McMahon then manages to score an interview for an internship with Google, which could possibly lead to a job In the future (something I myself have done with Yahoo coincidently). From there, the movie divulges into a game of Noogle (Yes a term coined by newbies at Google) Hunger Games with co-partner Nick Campbell (Owen Wilson).

The movie works best when it shows it's heart to the audience, in that the whole message of the movie is that each generation only survives by the coming together as one. It also manages to subtly place a comment on the current generation of wide social research on youngsters suffering from a lack of social ability caused by the explosion of social networking.

Also I must mention a thank you too the end credits creator, it's refreshing and is visually pleasing.. Movies need to be more creative like that in the future.

The film falls flat though, on it's over-representation of characters (come on no-one in Australia is that aussie as Bridesmaid's Rose Byrne's character) and the humour being largely already seen during TV spots and trailers.

Overall, a movie that deals with today's social issues but provides no depth whatsoever and instead offers you a mindless and a kind-of funny film.

Spring Breakers (2013) Movie Review

Don’t let the posters or trailers fool you, this film is to be taken much more seriously then you think.

How this film even received a R18+ over here (Australia) is beyond me and proves just what the film sets out to do, that is to question the very foundation of pop culture and the state of modern society.

The film revolves around four young teenage girls wanting to escape their daily lives by going on spring break, on such a path they end up getting arrested and then joining alongside a mentally unstable man named Alien (yes you can tell how mental he is just by his name) played by the charismatic James Franco which then leads the young girls on a path of no return.

Such escapades then delve into a deeper path of culture and the state it is in as the girls attempt to make their fantasies a reality, in the run they lose their purity and innocence before returning home as traumatized changed girls.

The film itself is shot like an old video-game with constant cuts to some repetitive footage throughout to emphasize the contrast of glamour and reality the characters face, it's quite effective but can be a bit off-putting for all you non-arty film lovers, but of coarse if your all for arty cinema you'll love it!

Actresses of the film, most famous for their work with Disney are almost unrecognizable in this film, most notably Vanessa Hudgens (Candy) and Ashley Benson (Brit) while Selena Gomez (Faith) manages to maintain her good girl roots though, with her character being in high religious grounds in which the film also explores by showing the conflict individuals face with religion and society.

Overall, a strong film that touches on deep issues embedded in society such as morality, innocence, religion in contrast with modern culture. But the film falls short during its closing scenes by leaving fans in a state of confusion and not knowing what to take from it, maybe that’s what director Harmony Korine was going for? After-all young teens continue to be in a state of confusion over such life issues touched upon as they more than often, as one character in the film puts it “treat it like a video game”.

The Vampire Diaries 4x23 "Graduation" Season Finale Review!

Season 4 went out on a high-note last night after being one mixed bag of a season this time around.

The season finale had some really great moments and one big really scratch-your-head moment.

Below is what went down in the confusing season finale:

Source: CW

Damon gets the girl.. Yes no games this time, and no silly sire bonds too. Elena is in a normal state of mind again and has chosen bad boy Damon as her lover (well at least for now). I for one enjoy these two together and hope it stays this way next season. The triangle stuff has become tiresome.
But the question now is how will the two still have that chemistry we love.. now that their real-life counterparts have split (Anyone recall how The OC's Rachel and Adam's real life split affected Summer and Seth?)

Mabekah is now on?.. Since Rebekah has began to show her nice side since prom, Matt is digging her more and more now! (And who wouldn't). She saved him yet again from being blown up by Bek's ancient lover, and then in the end Matt admitted he had been stuck at The Grill for far too long (we here ya) and invited her to hit the road with him (Ooh la la). Lets hope this trip proves romantic and not end up a disaster.

And the cure goes to.. Katherine. All that build up to be given to her? Don't get me wrong it will be interesting to see a different side of vixen Katherine but i though it would of went to one of the Salvatore brothers. Either way both are interesting, wonder if Mrs. Katerina will be a nice or bitchy human? What do use think, good Kat or bad Kat?

Jeremy is back, but his girl is a goner.. Well for now, i really don't think that's the last we saw of Kat Graham (Bonnie).. It was kinda emotional but not enough to warrant a typical TVD goodbye. It's nice that Jeremy is back but he already feels he has done what we he needs to. And how can we lose Bonnie? Those little subtle goodbyes she made were gut-wrenching..

I know there are some fans out there that dislike the little witch but i really enjoy her on the show. She has some good chemistry with her friends despite her rage issues. For Elena this is bittersweet though, she got her brother back and lost a best friend.

What do you think, will Bonnie be back?

Stefan is a doppelganger? Now this was one hella-confusing way to close out the season.. It was so random and went by so quick that i needed to read myself what happened. Okay so apparently Silas is the real Stefan, and Stefan is his dopple-ganger? (well that's how i read it anyway). Now we all know just why Stefan has such a dark past as a ripper.. his got a bit of the image he was created in.

Well now his locked up in a locker down the famous bridge lake and could possibly be there for a while. It looks like Silas will now play-off as Stefan among his loved ones (Smallville anyone? Remember Braniac becoming Clark Kent?) Or is Silas (being the mind manipulator he is) tricking Stefan into thinking so?

Side-Notes: Klaroline got a glint of hope but.. only for the spin-off series The Originals.. Once TVD ends Caroline might just end up in New Orleans miraculously after leaving Tyler. Okay, crazy theory over now. Also Ouch! those grad caps are much sharper than they look and finally I say again, is there anyway we can keep Lexi and Alaric?

Overall, a good season finale that set-up just where the show might be heading by adding more questions and little answers for the future. It gave fans a little what they wanted, hope for giving them what they desire in the future before leaving them in a confusing haze until the show returns in September or October.

How I Met Your Mother 8x24 "Something New" Season Finale Review: The Near-Decade Mystery Revealed!

It has been the biggest 8 mystery in TV land and it has now been unraveled (well unless the show manages to end up tricking us again somehow).

Yes that's right HIMYM fans it was actually revealed before the series finale next season! So avert your eyes right now if you've yet to see the season finale.

Here's what went down in the huge season finale below:

Source: CBS

Robin and Barney recreate their first date.. in true style. This season has really been a stepping stone for the two as they continue to prove week after week just why they belong together.. this time it was done cleverly by Robin again beating Barney to his witty ideas and battling a snobby couple nearby on their re-created first date. It was hilarious when Barney kept getting bashed in the head by the kitchen door and Robin knowing just how to mess with the rival couples heads.

In the end though, they both ended up in the usual situation and saving the snobby rivals relationship (or where they lying to make them jealous?). It's a shame though, that we have to wait another few months till we actually get to see the two get "Legen-Married".

Lily and Marshall face a dilemma.. These two actually took the rougher side of the episode, not only was Lily frustrated with Marshall and his family over wanting them to ditch Paris (But you got to admit those exchanges with Lily and Marshall's mother were pretty funny..). And to top it all off Marshall was offered to become a lawyer! Right when Lily's career is all set and locked in to.

Now what will they do? Will they both achieve their dreams or will sacrifices need to be made?

Ted moves on.. as he plans to pack up and head to Chicago after the wedding? I'm sure that will all change though once he comes face to face with his future wife (come on he can't leave his gang behind right?).

Also the missing locket that we learned of in 'Something Old' was actually in Ted's old apartment after Robin hid it in a little box during one of her drunken escapades with Lily .. how sweet that Ted will now give it to the newlyweds for their wedding gift.

And the mother is.. a random (to put it harshly) but what a random she is.. after numerous years of previous exes constantly reappearing it turned out that it was noone we have ever met before and not a huge celebrity guest. I'm actually quite happy with just who the mother is..  she looks a bit like their daughter with a touch of Lily. Nice casting all round for the HIMYM casting department there. I still wonder if there's still a twist to it.. afterall this is How I Met Your Mother were talking about here.

I can not wait to see how everything develops from here on out! It's sure going to be something refreshing from the usual mother mystery formula. It also takes away the pain of waiting to find out just who she was.

Side-note: "HELLLO!" Oh how i love Ranjit.. How good was that guest appearance? Just seeing that guy is sure to make your day.

Overall, one of the best season finales of the series to-date, it managed to provide the perfect balance of classic humor with a blend of drama, classic characters and finally move the show forward for its final hurrah next season. I for one can not fathom just where the show will go from now and look forward to being surprised with whatever direction they take.

90210 Series Finale Review "We All Fall Down": Undisclosed Closure

Despite the late cancellation 90210 managed to conjure at the most some closure for fans.

Sometimes open-endedness is a good thing.. allowing fans to make up their own endings and this series finale sits among those ones.

Below is a full run-down of the finale 90210 ever!

Source: CW

Navianna end-game couple.. Yes the series finale proved just how much chemistry the two have always had. I enjoyed Addixon too, but Navianna has always been end-game. Their characters picked up right from last week's 'Scandal Royale' where the roof con-caved whilst Adrianna sang her heart-out.

Navid then became Hercules for a bit to rescue the love of his life. Their scenes under the rubble were touching and really brought home the fact that these characters are moving forward with their lives. I also thought it was cute and funny when Adrianna desperately and numerously called for Navid.. it again proved how strong there attachment is.

Lannie rekindle their spark in the final minutes.. After countless episodes/seasons of the two not being together they decided to re-ignite the spark and get married in the final scenes of the show. It had finally come full-circle after Liam proposed way back in the beginning of season 4.. and in pure Terminator style Liam showed up whilst Annie was leaving for Paris and stopped the plane from taking off after reading the ending of her erotic novella.

Cheesy i know.. but sort of fitting as the characters all got one final moment to get excited over their two best friends getting married. Are you happy with Lannie? Or are you Liaomi all the way?

Naomi gets a happy ending?.. well sort of. It was fun seeing her throw one last party (something she's done over the course of the show) and prove just what a kind spirit she is by giving up materialism to help aid the rescue and give off her whopping balance she scored over saving the Japanese prince last week to charity! Oh Naomi, your a walking example of a bitch with a pure soul.

In the end she jetted of to New York with Jordan after his monster of a mother apologized and allowed the two to be together. But Maxiomi felt much more endgame for me, but she's headed for New York and who knows what that could bring.. maybe she can bump into him somehow. Naomi goes to the Big Apple spin-off anyone?

Silver takes the bad-side of the cake.. but there is hope as Dixon is right there to support her on the traumatic journey she is about to embark on. His words were not only comforting for Silver, it was also comforting for viewers whoever face such tough circumstances in life (which we all do) in that when the going gets tough we march on even stronger! That scene was suprisingly gripping and made me a little teary.

Poor Silver though, after such a rough season she ended up even worse with cancer and no baby in arms, but the silver-lining of it all is that she could end up adopting a child and living happily ever-after with Dixon.. Come on that jump at the end is screaming re-union in the near future guys! Also who else cracked up when Dixon got all jolly over his sister's proposal? And wonder if Dixon achieves his dream career?.. I really hope so.

Uh well, guess it all comes down to you guys now in judging where you want the characters to go. It's always nice to have a flash-forward though despite it's cheesiness as it gives a greater picture to fans. But the way it ended was much more grounded in reality, after-all we can't skip and see our own futures right?

Final side-notes.. I loved that the show closed out with a OneRepublic track ('I Lived' if you want find it) it made it into a feel-good moment. Also how good was the show's retrospective and finally, who knew Prince Jackson was a surprisingly good actor?

That's all folks, 90210 is all over! Thanks to the cast and crew for giving us so much fun on television these past five years and thank you readers for coming here every week and enjoying my reviews. I certainly had a blast, and to honor all of use and the show I made this little goodbye tribute for it.. check it out below.

Revenge Season 2 Finale "Truth": Cliffhangers Galore!

Revenge closed out it's second season run in style last night. Seriously all good shows deserve a grand 2-hour finale.

Below is a look at the cliffhanger-heavy double episode:

Source: ABC

Another death befalls.. Yes, it was revealed previously that a major character would be biting the dust. And it just so happened to be (usually a side-character) Declan Porter.

Why did he have to leave us now? Just when things were looking up for him.. I feel sorry for Charlotte now that she must raise their child on her own. It actually got me a little teary when he passed away, Nolan and Jack's reactions where just too emotional and the way Declan comforted Charlotte by saying he was okay.. It was all just very bittersweet.

Now Charlotte must go through the exact same thing Jack is going through by becoming a single parent. I really can't wait to see how she takes everything.. Will she rebel against her family again (as Emily said so)?

Jack loses it..  and do you blame him? He went through such a hard-time this year. Not only did he get involved in all that random bar drama, he lost his wife and the mother of his child! And now his lost Declan? It was just the icing on top for him to lose it at the Graysons.

I was literally on the edge when he arrived at the Graysons mansion and threatened to shoot Victoria (i knew he wouldn't do it though) as i thought Emily would come in and reveal her big secret than (yes i was tricked by the promos again). But once that little segment passed i thought he was really capable of killing Conrad with all that anger he had.

Lets hope season 3 is a breath of fresh air for Jack.. and i'm sure it will after Emily's big confession (We'll get to that soon.)

Is Aiden Dead?.. Among the many cliffhangers of the night, could spoiled rich kid Daniel Grayson be capable of murder? The last we saw Aiden was his fight with Daniel who spotted a nearby gun and then later Daniel turned up to his dad's speech with a little blood on his sleeve. Well to be honest i;m sure he is alive and made a deal with Aiden that has something to do with bringing down his father! But that's just my crazy theory. What do you Revengers think went down?

Conrad at his darkest yet.. Usually i'm used to a little bad Conrad, but last night really exposed his true colors. He doesn't care who he brings down in achieving his own selfish goals, first he tried to kill Jack once learning of his pact with Ashley which ended up taking poor Declan's own life, then he has the nerve to bring down his so-called 'wife' Victoria, who also finally had her last straw with him too (that spit was just epic). Before finally learning of his involvement with the Initative, that truly made me hate the man even more.

I'm really hoping a mother-son team up between Victoria and Daniel goes down next season to finally bring down this evil man.

Nolan locked away.. Nolan had quite the rough-time during this finale. Not only was he coming to deals with the death of Declan, he was then arrested and charged for cyber-terrorism. And to top it all off, he was delivered a message from a lost love one.. Padma! in which i'm sure I remember was recorded before she died,  unless she's alive somehow and is actually a baddie like we all thought?

Emily's path of revenge overcomes one huge hurdle..  Emily found out that the very man (Takeda) who set her own her path of revenge had his own agenda thanks to Aiden. Apparently Takeda's fiance was killed off on Flight 197 adding yet another member to the death toll.

Emotionally speaking, Emily underwent some huge changes.. Aiden found out about Jack and decided to leave allowing Emily to decide if she'll join him later.

But the major shock of the night was of coarse Emily finally deciding to drop her revenge agenda down (well at least for a bit) and reveal to Jack who she really is! It was truly a jaw-dropping moment, but seriously how did Jack realize before she even told him? Or did he just suspect it all these years before?

Season 3 is certainly going to be a hell' of a lot more interesting.. now that he knows.

Victoria's son finds his way home.. Patrick, her long lost son that Mrs. Grayson gave up just as a teenager returned to his mother's arms after recently deciding to look for him again. Down goes Victoria's glass of wine the minute she saw him (cheesy, but wouldn't you drop it to?).

Jeesh.. season 3 has a lot of potential right now, let's hope the new show-runner next season wisely directs the path it will take from here on out.

Side-Notes.. Ashley i actually like you now, now that you've found some morals. And how epic was the music score tonight? (Wished they added a montage song like Florence's one last season though).

Overall Rating:
4.8/5

See ya next season Revengers! This may be my final revenge review though, so if i'm not writing reviews next season it was one amazingly-wild ride reviewing this show!

The Vampire Diaries 4x22 "The Walking Dead": Bonnie Lands On The Other Side

The Vampire Diaries has really gained back it's momentum towards the closing end of the season. Tonight proved just that once again.

Below is a look at the major events of the night:

Source: CW

Bonnie drops the veil on herself? Yes Bonnie went ahead and semi-dropped the veil to the other side bringing back a few favorites from the dead. But Bonnie being connected to Katherine went to far and wanted to test the spirits including her beloved Grandmother by wanting permanently allow a certain someone to live again.. of coarse I mean Jeremy when i say that.

But everything comes with a cost and nature always maintains a balance to keep everything in order (haven't y'all seen Final Destination?) and unfortunately to do this Bonnie ended up getting caught in the ring of fire and losing her own life. But never fear Bonnie fans, i'm sure she's alive.. at least i hope!

The dead return.. the good and the ugly.. Thanks to the dead returning, we were treated to one hell of an episode that not only got us reminiscing but remembering just what the show was like with them. First and foremost they need to bring back Alaric!.. he just adds a certain element to others (specifically Damon) that comes from his friendship. Also making welcome comebacks was little Gilbert (Jeremy) and Stefan's lovable carer Lexi (loved how she hinted at Caroline replacing her).

It really brought the best out of mostly everyone tonight, but when i say mostly that does not include everyone as the dropping of the vale brings along some unwanted guests such as Kol (who returned for a few minutes) and all the other dead hunters (Yes the dreaded Connor and Rebekah's ancient flame hunter).

Rebekah continues to grow.. Despite Rebekah's ancient hunter flame returning, we continued to see her tackle a new leaf of life in which Elena and Kol threatened to destroy by subtly labeling her new change a fake ploy in achieving the one thing she desires most.. Matt.

Come on guys! all desires a side, i really think poor Rebekah is a real caring Original... well at least Matt is beginning to think so to after standing along side her throughout most the episode and trusting her to help him with his nasty bottle wound (how sweet). I guess Mabekah is on!

Elena's rage issues.. Humanity switches being turned on again comes along with a whole lot of other issues as Elena continued to divert her emotional trauma into rage against Katherine. Once she came face to face with her vixen alter-ego she attempted to kill her! Stefan stopped it of coarse in an attempt to protect Bonnie's life too. Elena wasn't too happy with this interruption and gave one big slap to Stefan (Ouch!. but fun).

Elena is still not completely herself though, as she continues to push her loved ones aside but after seeing Jeremy again last night and getting the proper closure she needs I think we may just see the real her again. What do you guys think? Do you even want the old Elena back?

Silas no more? Thank the heavens this baddy is gone! He has long past his use-by date. Only one person accomplished it and it was from his very own supposed assistant Bonnie. Now that he will be thrown deep into the sea the cure is now Damon's! The question now on is just who he will give it to! Sound off in the comments who you think it would be? Or whom it will be shared between.

How I Met Your Mother 8x23 "Something Old" Review: Robin Digs Deep

How I Met Your Mother regained it's feet this week after last week's lackluster episode.

Below were the top highlights of the night:

Source: CBS

Robin Diggers?.. Who knew Robin could become so girly! Well this week certainly demonstrated that as she went bat-crazy over finding something she buried when she was a young girl.. (or young guy should we say). She made a pact that the only day she would dig it up again was when she found the love of her life, and if she couldn't find it, it would be a sign from the heavens that he isn't the one.

But once Robin found the mysterious box she was in a state of relief before discovering that the actual object was missing! I guess we'll get back to that later (yes i'm using the show's famous plot device).

Lily & Marshall plan the future.. Are these two really leaving for Rome? Its been a question for quite a few weeks now but after this week's episode it started to hit the home-front. It all started once Ted refused to remove his broken bean bag (a sign over not accepting change), Lily & Marshall tried to keep it though by patching it up but it was too late as Ted had realized that things are a ch-changing in everyone's lives.

I really think they'll stay though since there in almost every future flashback.

Barney bonds with Robin's dad.. Yes no joke, Robin's stone cold dad actually likes little old Barney and approves him marrying his daughter. It was quite hilarious seeing the two bond over laser-tag, something that's a huge deal for Robin and Barney.

Ted ignites an old flame.. Okay this was coming for a few weeks now and came to full blow this week as Ted showed up for Robin when she was in desperate need of someone's comfort during her crazy digging hunt. Not only was he there for Robin, she was there for him too as Ted was nervous when heading towards a big meeting. It really proved just how well these two know each other, by the very fact that they understand what their feeling when they say "nah, it's stupid".

These little quirks truly get me questioning whether or not Robin is in fact the mother despite the show-runners insistence that she's not. Also could the sudden pour down at the end have a significantly deeper meaning? (Remember it was raining on the night Ted meets his wife at Farhampton station).

Goodbye TV Reviewing!

To all my Media Hype 101 readers, i am hanging up my weekly TV recap coat after this TV season
due to numerous commitments i have going on.

It's quite fitting that i'm ending my TV recaps with 90210's end since they are the most popular reviews on the site :)

Don't be sad though.. i'll still occasionally review films/music and just might review entire seasons rather than weekly recaps.

Thank you again to all my readers for enjoying and taking the time out to read my reviews :).

90210 Season 5 Episode 21 (5x21) "Scandal Royale" Review: The Zip Explodes For It's Penultimate Episode!

When I say the zip explodes, i mean literally!

90210 proved just why it has been on the air for all these years and that is, by providing us some really great engaging drama. Below is a recap of the huge events that went down in it's penultimate episode.

Source: CW

Adrianna sings for 'The Last Time'? Is it just me or did any of use get a little teary during that montage where Ade was singing and everyone was looking all dramatic? (Annie and Dixon to be exact). And where was Navid during the huge explosion?

Anyway we'll get back to the explosion later, First off Ade and Navid revealed that they rekindled their relationship by first deciding to tell Dixon (nice choice guys) in which Silver later found out too. Turns out though, Navianna still have those good ol' trust issues they shared back in the old days. Navid believed she may still be up to all her mischievous schemes again (they even mentioned that ancient Javier drama). Ade also began to think that Navid is the same old issue guy she dated before.. yada yada yada.
But once he learned of her writing the song, he realized just what an ass his been (his words, not mine) and ran to patch things up whilst she was on stage.. that is before the big explosion happened. I really think Navid must of caught sight of the danger and rescued Ade somehow though.

Lannie resurfaces.. Yes and this time it actually meant something! Annie continued to show signs that she still loves him by offering to buy the bar, which then ran into a hurdle thanks to the old owner (who surprisingly provided Liam some wise words) needing to sign over the rights. It was quite cute seeing Annie cover herself shyly when Liam found the old engagement ring (it was also ironic that the agent said that things work better the second time).

Now that Liam is not leaving to Australia, he is continuing to downplayed his own feelings again by just waiting around for Annie to make the first move. His still with Sydney too, which made Annie realize she needs to leave the zip for good. But guys come on it's obvious that Liam is going to stop her right?

Naomi takes the fall.. Again we saw just why we love Naomi so much. She can be a bitch sometimes but most of the time she actually goes out of her way to protect others. Last night we saw her cop being labelled a Beverley hills drug lord after a Japanese prince overdosed on some pills whilst Jordan's sister was looking after him... Oh Naomi always putting your needs before others.

Now that shes' freed Jordan from his mother's grasp he is able to move freely business wise, but not Naomi wise. So does this mean poor Naomi will end up alone... I don't think so but what do you guys think?

Silver got bad news.. again.. This season has certainly been a life changing one for poor Silver. She has been selfish quite a bit too but no one deserves that much pain. Not only has she been told she has the cancer gene, she tried to have a baby too in which Teddy interfered with by bringing in Michaela who sadly lost the baby last night. And now she faces the prospect of actually having cancer? Nice going too from Teddy, who after all this pain finally realized just how bad he treated her. All is well now though between the two as they made up in a touching beach hug, so i guess all is forgiven now. But lets begin to hope that Silver ends on a high note next week.

Overall, this was an excellent penultimate episode that managed to setup the stage for the series finale next week. Even though it was unknown whilst filming that the show was going to be cancelled it actually ended up feeling like one as the gang began to head towards the future and make some major changes in their lives.

Next week it all ends 90210 fans... just saying that feels startling as I've enjoyed watching and reviewing the show for quite a while now. But I guess all good things must come to an end.

See you fans one final time for my last review of the show, be sure to also check out my 90210 farewell tribute video which I will embed with it next week.

DEMI Track By Track Album Review: Demi's Back Like a Skyscraper?

Demi Lovato is back!

Below is a full track-by-track review of her latest album effort:

Hollywood Records

1. Heart Attack: This song has already reached the top 10 in numerous countries around the world.. And rightly so! The hook, the catch, everything about it screams hit and is infectiously catchy. I’m sure many of you have already caught yourselves singing the lyrics numerous times over and over again. (5/5)

2. Made In the USA: Whoa, what a follow up to her first single.. I really think this will be her second single. It’s too good to not be, the whole song is radio friendly and the verses + chorus is just as infectious as Heart Attack (4.7/5)

3. Without The Love: Hmm this one is a mixed bag for me, the verses are good but the chorus can get quite repetitive. The breakdown than redeems it all with Demi yelling her heart out again. All aside the track is not bad at all but just not as catchy as the others. (3.5/5)

4. Neon Lights: Demi shows off her dance side during this track and I love it! What about use? The song is just asking to be played at clubs and might just catapult Lovato into the top 10 billboard dance tracks. The chorus, the verses, the little dub step bit.. This track has it all. (5/5)

5. Two Pieces: Power ballad Demi returns and yes its yet another great track. It ticks all the classic ballad check list. The breakdown, the slow/upbeat verses before laying it all down in the final lyrics. It is all pure classic Demi (4.3/5)

6. Nightingale: This is a beautiful slow ballad that hits all the right notes without overdoing itself. The verses get you swaying and then the triumphant chorus comes in and you just want to scream along. Okay enough of what it makes me feel, does it do the same for you? (5/5)

7. In Case: Another laid back track but the album once proves it relentless to drop in quality, this is just as on-par with Nightingale but not quite as good. It’s a nice melody to get you in a somber mood with a nicely done piano backdrop. Demi also manages to leave you satisfied once she hits the high notes just before the song ends. (4.1/5)

8. Really Don’t Care (feat Cher Lloyd): As we reach the home stretch of the album fans are treated to yet another hit! Who knew the two could make a great combo together? Demi sings her verses effortlessly while Cher manages to flow quite nicely into the tune without running it. Dare I say this could be another single in the future? (4.4/5)

9. Fire Starter: I really like this track, it’s sort of edgy in which Demi works best (yes I’m pointing at you Remember December and Don’t Forget). The song is also yet another catchy tune. (4.5/5)

10. Something That We’re Not: Love this track. Demi Lovato channels a serious cooey voice in this one and it’s hella-catchy, Cause I-I-I know this one will be stuck in my head for days. It’s just a feel good sweet bubblegum track that will get you bopping along as you make your way to wherever it is your going. (5/5)

11. Never Been Hurt: The structure of this song is so good, it has some really great verses and heart-felt cooey injection of a chorus. The breakdown is quite small but only adds to the cool structure of it. (4.2/5)

12. Shouldn't Come Back: This is one of the slower tracks of the album, it’s really noticeable since the rest of the album is quite upbeat. Every album needs that cooling off stage though so it’s nice. The climax redeems the slow pace of it when Demi starts screaming out in her most vulnerable voice “Maybe you shouldn't come back to me”. (3.9/5)

13. Warrior: Another slow paced song to close out the album, but this is much more personal as shows of her ‘Skyscraper’ side once again by showing just how much she has healed, and fought back all the tough things she had faced. While not quite as hit worthy as Skyscraper though, it makes up for a great way to close out the album. It would have been nice to see Demi belt out her emotional shouting in this one though. (3.9/5)

Overall, this is truly an impressive comeback from Mrs. Lovato that not only delivers her fans everything they wanted but is bound to attract a whole new audience and provide radios' plenty of hit worthy singles that can potentially smash radio charts across the globe.
